about
I am an experienced computer programmer who started programming in BASIC when I was 12 years old. I eventually moved onto Assembly Language for the Z80 processor. Since programming as a career I have learnt 6502, 80x86 and 68000 Assembly Languages. My current programming languages include C/C++ and J2ME (Java).
I have developed for a wide variety of platforms, including PC (both Windows and DOS), Sony PlayStation, Sony PlayStation 2, Sega Saturn, Commodore 64, Sinclair Spectrum and Pocket PC and various Java enabled mobile phones.
I have experience in using Criterion’s multi-platform 3D engine RenderWare as well as in both conversions/ports and original titles.
I have also worked on a wide variety of game styles, including racing games, card gambling, sports, kids and puzzle/strategy titles.
Watching movies is one of my pastimes both at the cinema and at home. I enjoy playing badminton and squash and have also been known to play 5 a side football occasionally.
As well as writing games I enjoy playing them too, I have several consoles including a PS2, PS3, Dreamcast, Nintendo 64 and Nintendo Wii.
I enjoy driving and have a keen interest in Japanese sports cars; having owned 3 Toyota Celicas and currently a Toyota MR2.
